Bruce Winterbon - Valley Artisan's Co-opWood Products for Sale to the Public
Artisans Bruce Winterbon is an artisan who crafts a wide variety of wooden wonders from his workshop in Deep River, Ontario. He got his first lathe in the early 80s and has been turning wood ever since. His pieces have diversified through the years to include bowls, plates, candlesticks and tea-light holders, earrings made out of jack pine cones and other wood, shelves, small tables and mobiles. His other passion is nature photography. Bruce’s workshop holds an impressive catalogue of woods, specialized tools and works-in-progress. Each piece is unique and has a considerable amount of thought and care behind it. When Bruce is not in his workshop, he spends time in his own woodlot recreating, taking photos, and collecting wood for making art. You can purchase Bruce’s art directly from him or through the Valley Artisan’s Co-op store in Deep River (33373 Highway 17 West). Stop by the Co-op to see some of Bruce’s pieces on display.
